Doe Deere of Lime Crime is on her way!
In 2008, Doe Deere launched her personal animal-friendly makeup line, LimeCrime.com, that has taken over the way girls wear makeup these days. “It is super girly girl” describes Doe Deere. Lime Crime develops new bold colors for nails, face, and hair. When Doe Deere isn’t in meetings she spends her time in a lab with Chemists developing the brave colors we have come to embrace and love.
Growing up you would never see your mom or friends’ mom with colored hair other than the traditional blonde, brown, and an occasional saucy red. Lime Crime has reinvented women of all ages to embrace their girly-ness. It is not just the rebellious teen that has dyed hair and bold make up anymore. It is the soccer mom that drives the team home after the game and grand-ma’s that grew up never being able to express themselves with such courage and acceptance. Doe Deere has made this possible.
Doe Deere plays by her own rules. This is obvious to observe through her unique Unicorn style. Being a startup company in the makeup industry you have to go big or go home. Doe believes you do what makes your heart happy even if that means you have to break a few fashion rules. For example, bold eyes with bold lips. Rule says “have one bold statement and down play everything else”. Breaking the rules seems to be working quite well for Lime Crime and its clients.
Her new line of liquid-to-matte lipstick has taken over her Instagram. It is a part of the Velvetines product line. “It is kiss proof” explains Doe Deere in an interview with Adamme at the famous PHAMexpo in Pasadena CA.
“Being true to myself is the only way for me to make an impact.” As a young Entrepreneur Doe Deere has given women confidence to be who they want to be. Lime Crime has over 2.1 million followers on Instagram and has over 90 thousand likes on Facebook. It is safe to say that Doe Deere has made her impact and has big plans for her future.
