The Life and Achievements of Sam Tabar

Sam Tabar is an attorney and a hedge fund manager. He has connected two distinct and very hard to specialize in carriers. His first interest was finance he pursed this field and successfully enrolled to Oxford Business School. After graduating among the first in his class he joined Columbia Law School where he pursued his interest in law. His inspiration to pursue these two careers has awed many people. During his stay at Columbia he put his financial background into good use and acted as the associate editor of Columbia Law School Law Review. He naturally excelled and graduated with honors.

After school he was admitted as an associate at Skardden, Arps, Slater, Meagher & Flom which is a limited liability law firm situated in New York. Being a large law firm it handles claims in different sectors. Sam Tabar was set in the prestigious hedge fund management section of the law firm. Here he put into use his financial knowhow and experience. He mainly worked on financial and investment management with emphasis on creation and dissolution of hedge funds, financial agreements and contracts formation.

After 3 years of diligent service he left the firm and moved to Hong Kong China where he joined Sparx Group/ PMA Investment Advisors. He was particularly suited for this job since he had diverse knowledge in the investment sector. He acted as the lead counsel and financial regulatory advisor from September 2004. His dedication and knowledge got the attention of senior management and he later assumed the role of Managing director and co-head of business development. His role included market search and discovery. His tenure at the financial advisement firm saw a rolodex of over 2000 potential investors and 400 actual investors who invested their assets directly to the firm. His involvement with the firm saw an increase of managed assets from $ 2 billion to $ 3.2 billion a rise of 1.2 billion.

He returned to the US in 2011 and joined the biggest investment bank in the country Merrill Lynch investment bank. He was in charge of the Asia Pacific region. His tenure at the investment bank saw an increase of investment introductions to various hedge fund managers. The bank saw a rolodex of over 1,250 investment introductions. From there he joined Adanac LLC, Schulte Roth and Zabel LLP. While in the aforementioned industries he served the role of director and counsel.He is presently working at FullCycle Energy where he is the firm’s Chief Operating Officer. He joined the firm in 15th December 2015.
